The Liberty Bell
The world-famous Liberty Bell makes its permanent residence in Philadelphia, and this national treasure is perhaps the city’s most impressive attraction. Located just outside of Independence Hall, in a modest glass shed-like structure, the cracked masterpiece is mounted beautifully at the end of a corridor inside the building.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
Located in Philadelphia’s museum district, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the top art museums in the country and has several collections on hand which immediately distinguish it from the rest of the pack. It was constructed in 1928 and fashioned after the temples of Greece. It spans nearly ten acres with almost two hundred galleries and over two hundred and fifty thousand pieces of artwork.
Independence Hall
Independence Hall, in the Historic District of Philadelphia, is one of the most important buildings in our country’s history. Known as the birthplace of the United States, the Hall has housed such momentous events as the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the adoption of the Constitution.
